Greetings Tom, I saw your performance at Jazz in the Pines last weekend. Super. Actually, I was sitting in front and taped the show for my on-going practice. I chair the Art Dept at Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree where I teach digital photography and now video. Anyway, I edited out a half hour DVD and would like to send you a copy. It's going nowhere else other than being shown to students. Can you send me a postal address and I'll send you a disc? Regards, Spelman Downer Submitted By: Spelman

Hi Tom! You, I and Joe Rothman had dinner on the jazz Cruise last November. It was great spending time with you and chatting. But I seem to have misplaced your info. I see that you will be performing this coming weekend in my area (Idyllwild) and wondered which day you will be there. I would love to say hello. Please give me a call or Email me if you get the chance. I still owe your wonderful singer a recording of Harlem Nocturn which I will bring with me. =) Best Wishes to You, Laura Hagen Submitted By: Laura Hagen

Hi Tom, Thanks for coming in the store today, I hope the overhaul works well for you. We've kept the shop alive since J & L decided to bow out last year, and it's looking good for the future with the new downtown Lancaster redevelopment in front. Check out our website www.cstmusic.com, we'll be transitioning to 'Cornerstone Music' ...from the ashes to keep the dream alive. Bill Submitted By: Bill Rigert

hi, I,m an italian musician, but first of all I,m much more than a fun. Flashed with your "apple juice" in late 1982(I was 12)rural still life, in L.A.(that I still search, the only one I miss!)and other beautiful things you've done with one of the amazing performers I ever heard which is Vic Feldman, I like to thank you for your 360° work and your "overseas/oversize teaching" I've no words to express my gratitude, all my mates or students know your phrases or rhythm licks and so an' so PS I,m a drummer, but with you, Vic or Roger(kellaway indeed!!!)there are all the keys a drummer need to be....Inside Track.......listen you....steve Submitted By: stefano "steve" resca

Mr. Scott, You once worked with a friend of mine, Teddie Neeley, out in California back in the 80s on a movie called "Blame It on the Night" for Tri-Star. You and Teddie co-wrote the incidental music together, and also a great deal of the movie's songs. As a gift for Teddie's birthday next year, I'm recording covers of the songs with the help of some of his fans and friends, but we noticed an interesting anomaly. In the movie's credits, two more songs are listed than the amount that appear in the final cut. One of them, you co-wrote, and that one was called "Stone Me"; the other one I'm not sure you'd know about, but it was called either "A Man Without a Woman" or "Me Without You." As these songs don't appear in the film, we were wondering if you had any left-over info on them, be it lyric or lead sheets, etc. I know it's not like musicians to save every little thing over the years (I've known a few), but we figured if anyone could help, it would be you. Any assistance you can
